Services To The Corporate Sector
Acted as Legal Counsel to the Trade and Development Bank (formerly PTA Bank) in respect of various financing projects such as infrastructure projects in Zambia including Facility for erection, commissioning and maintenance of a 24 megawatt power plant and a Facility of US$30,000,000;

Provided Legal advisory services to the Government of the Republic of Zambia on the USD28.08 Million contract for the supply, installation and implementation of the integrated financial management information system (IFMIS) between the Government of the Republic of Zambia represented by the Ministry of Finance and National Planning and Soluziona S.A of Madrid Spain Indra Sistemas S.A also of Madrid Spain in 2009/10.

Acted as Local Legal Counsel to the Zambian government for the issuance of two Sovereign Bonds i.e one for US$1billion (2013-14) and a second for US$1,25billion (2015);

Acted as Legal Counsel to Kobil Zambia Limited and on a Facility from BNP Paribas of Paris;

Acted as Legal Counsel during the liquidation of Memaco Limited – the largest copper marketing company in Zambia;

Acted as Receiver and Manager of various companies in Zambia appointed by Financial Institutions both local and foreign;

Structured the Purchase/Sale Facility Agreement and attended to securitization on behalf of the PTA Bank on a Steel manufacturing project in Zambia. The Facility was done under Islamic Law;

External Legal Counsel to several Commercial Banks in Zambia;

Legal advisor to a variety of Corporate clients in all sectors of the economy.
